It's not just about choosing the right color, that fits best to your clothes. It's about "a perfect shape, a symmetrical arch to frame my face. That means no creases, no flops, no thread pulls." (as it's written in the very inspiring book: Does my head look big in this?" by Randa Abdel-Fattah )
I've got the feeling, that my English sounds kinda weird there...? Please help :S
Me: Ok ready to go.
Girls in my family: (1,000 years later) Ready.
And this one is cute too..<3//
"Okay, I'm going to quickly put the Hijab on"
There is nothing grammatically wrong in that sentence and as a sentence, it makes sense. But it just feels kinda off. Your choice of words is a bit unexpected, which is not a bad thing.
So ya, you're English is fine, it just sounds interesting~
