Please please please, challenge whatever you read or watch in the press - especially if it's about Muslims!
I started drawing this, after I've watched a report about muslims on TV a few days ago. And I really could understand, why non-muslims start to hate us by watching such programs - I myself thought about the "muslims" they showed: "What kind of stupid people are these??!" Why didn't they show a normal conversation with a normal Muslim, instead of showing a guy who stuck his tongue out?
You know, when I say "On deviantArt women show their art" I'm not lying, right? However you would suggest, that dA is only intended for women, just because I didn't mention the male artists.. just because I said only half the truth.
This is the way reporter deal with islam. And they have so many other strategies to show you a distorted and wrong image of it.
And it's not only me saying this. Yesterday I was at an event about "islam in the media", where some (non-muslim) academics discussed about this subject. It is such a huge and interesting and dirty issue!

Still useful these days, specially in my country with an "islamic" murder recently. I'm not muslim myself because my heart is in another beliefs, but I wonder why such hate on muslims. I know and work with some muslims and they are not what media tell at all. Take care.
