In response to a lot of the comments section:

Ah the age old justification of people being horrid human beings with "They're just trolling welcome to the internet get used to it"

Personally, I'm really uncomfortable when people try to brush violently white supremacist and neo-nazi content on the internet as "oh their just trolls."

On one hand, we have seen quite blatantly recently that these people are not all "just trolls." That they are in fact real people who genuinely believe this trash and are willing to incite violence to promote it.  The people behind this kind of content aren't just harmless assholes sitting in their basements getting a giggle out of harassing strangers on line.  Plenty of them are ready and willing to take their hate to the streets and make their threats a reality.

On the other hand, even if a user is "just trolling" they are still a person who thinks that violently bigoted things are fine and dandy to post online for "lolz." They are still people who think that subjects like genocide, slavery, lynchings, rape, police brutality, hate crimes, etc, are great material to amuse themselves with. Whether the person posting "Hitler was right" on a synagogue's FB page or "Slavery was a good thing" on a BLM event page genuinely believes what they are saying, or they think posting slurs and threats is a fun pastime doesn't really matter.

The impact is the same. the end result is the same.

And both the professed white supremacists and the "trolls" think that posting these things is a-okay.

People who post these things should be treated as if they are serious until proven otherwise.  If your smoke alarm goes off, you don't just chill in the house because "Oh well I can't see the fire yet so it's obviously not a real problem."
